Prospective residents and their families are invited to make an appointment to meet Rachel Bott (RGN) our Matron who will give a guided tour and discuss Care Plans and Nursing Needs.
Chateau Du Village welcomes both local, open market, private and states funded residents, who may seek long, short term, respite, day or palliative care.
All residents will be provided with a formal contract. The first month of residency will be deemed as a Trial Period after which either party has the option to terminate the agreement.
At any time the Resident, if they so choose may decide to move to another room in which case preference will be given, when a suitable alternative is available.
Residents will need to have a NAPS (Needs Assessment Panel Certificate) in place. This applies to both Long Term Care and Respite Care effective prior to admission if the Long Term Care insurance is to be paid by The Guernsey Social Security Authority.
Board of Health Inspections
It is a legal requirement that we are registered with the Board of Health, and under go a minimum of two inspections every year by an inspection officer. One of these being an arranged inspection, the others unannounced. Relatives are welcome to see this report on request to The Matron.
